Encryption and Decryption Project using JSP and Servlet and MySQL

ENCRYPTION & DECRYPTION MINI-PROJECT (SECURITY-Z)

The "SECURITY-Z" Project is a web-based project and It is mainly to secure the files present in our system. So this project is developed so that it can ENCRYPT and DECRYPT the Files like video, audio, documents, or even a complete drive present in our system. 

The project is developed using Java, JSP, Servlet, JavaScript, MySQL.

Let's take a look at the Project.

• So when we run the project for the first time it will ask us to SIGN UP first. We will able to see the below interface.

• Here each field is validated using javascript. So, Let's enter proper details and register. 

• Now, Let's register. Our detail will get added to the database and we will be redirected to the login page.

• Now let's login.

• Once we get Login we will be redirected to the home page.

• Now, this is our home page. let's try to encrypt some files. For that, we have to open Encryption Page. So let's just click on the Encryption button. And we will be able to see the below interface.

• Now here we have to enter the path which we have to encrypt. Suppose we want to Encrypt the files present in the below path. Then we have to just enter its path.

• Let's Encrypt this path.

• Once we press Encrypt button, Our Files in that path will get encrypted and we will get the Verification password on the screen. We will use it to Decrypt that same path.

• Here, 0.8829769 is the verification password to decrypt that same path. And now, our encrypted files will look like

• And related data will get added to the database.

• Now let's try to decrypt that same path.

• For Decrypting that path we have to enter that same path here.

• Once we press the Decrypt button we will be redirected to the Verification page where we have to enter the verification password for that encrypted path.

• Once we enter the correct verification password for that encrypted path our files will get decrypted and we will get a message on the screen.

• Our Files got decrypted successfully. Now, we can logout from the home page.

• Suppose the user forgets his password, so he can change the password using forgot password link.
