Car Rental System using Spring Boot, React JS & MySQL

The Car Rental System or Car Booking System Project using Spring Boot & React JS is a major  Full Stack application with 2 modules i.e. Admin & Customer, where the Admin adds the multiple Car Variants in the application and after adding the Variants, he can add the actual Car with the Registration Number, Once Admin adds the Car Variants, all the car variants will be visible in the home page of our website.

And, now customers can view the Car details and can book the Car Variant by selecting the From and To date. During registration, the customer has to add the Driving License also. The customer bookings will be visible to the Admin.

The Admin can view the complete Customer Booking Details along with driving license and from here he can Reject or Approve the booking. While Approving admin will assign the actual car with the car registration number. And now since Customer Booking is approved from the Admin side.

The Customer has to make the payment to confirm his booking.

In the end, the admin will be able to see the complete customer, booking details in his dashboard.

1. Spring Boot (REST APIS)

We have developed a Car Rental System project using Spring Boot 3 and Spring Security 6.

2. React JS (Frontend)

Software Used in Online Quiz App Project

1. STS (Spring Tool Suite)

For developing our backend, A Car Booking System project using Spring Boot, we have used STS (Spring Tool Suite) or Eclipse Ide. But yes, we can use other IDEs like Intellij Idea, NetBeans, etc.

2. VS Code (Visual Studio Code)

For developing our frontend, the Car Booking System project using React JS, we have used VS Code (Visual Studio Code).

3. MySQL Workbench

For efficient querying and manipulation of data, we have used MySQL Workbench. 

Note: If we want to use databases other than Mysql like Postgresql or Oracle, etc. we can use that also, for that, we have to do the simple configuration.

The project basically has two user modules:

1) ADMINISTRATOR MODULE

2) CUSTOMER MODULE

The registration and Login system has been added so that only authenticated users (Admin, or Customer) can perform their functionalities. For authentication, we have used Spring Security 6 and JWT.

Register Customer, View Customers, Delete Customer.

3) Car Company Module: 

Add Company, View Companies, Update Company.

4) Car Variant Module: 

Add Car Variant, Update Variant, Delete Variant, View All Variants, Search Variants.

5) Car Module: 

Add Car, Update Car, Delete Car, View All Cars.

6) Booking Module: 

Add Booking, Cancel Booking, View Bookings.

7) Payment Module: 

Pay & Confirm Booking, View Payment Details.
